The countdown to Rally Sweden 2010 is coming up and we are looking forward to a rally celebration never seen before! We wish all participating teams an amazing rally with great success and that the supporters cheering out in the forest will get to see many superb performances.

On another, less happy note: In remembrance of the catastrophe in Haiti, one of the starting teams in Rally Sweden has posted a challenge/invitation that we think is a good initiative. With this letter we are hereby showing our support and act as a mediator to all participating teams.

The Swedish team standing behind the challenge is Eljasmotorsport, who are giving 500 Euros to the people of Haiti distressed by the catastrophe. With this Eljasmotorsport hereby call on all competing teams to give a small donation.

As organizers we are standing behind this initiative and show our support by acting as an administrator of the collection. To us, this project shows how the world of motor sport takes responsibility both on and outside of the race tracks and we hope it will inspire others to follow our lead. With a hope that you as a team can spare a small part of your budget, we are eagerly waiting for your participation. All donations goes directly to Haiti without any administrational costs within Rally Sweden.
