Mikko Hirvonen made no mistake at the final stage of the Rally Sweden 2010. He didn´t win the stage, Jari-Matti Latvala did, but he was a secure second on stage and clinched the first place 43,7 seconds ahead of Sebastien Loeb with the liasion back to the prize giving cermony at Main Square in Karlstad left of the rally.

Loeb was behind Hirvonen all day and had his mind on securing the second place for the third time in the swedish winter rally event (he was second in 2006 and 2007 as well). Loeb has one victory i Rally Sweden (2004).

Marcus Grönholm did his first winter rally for three years and he made a good run on the sundays five stages finishing 3rd, 5th, 2nd, 5th and 4th.

Hirvonen was of course pleased after the last stage Värmullsåsen.
- It feels great and I can´t wait until the next rally (Mexico) starts, a happy Hirvonen said just seconds after he passed the finish line.
